Weekend Workshop for Guitarists Solo Guitar Improvisation and Arranging with Jeff Linsky
From early childhood, we are exposed to a wide variety of music. Most people are able to whistle or hum countless familiar melodies. As musicians, our instruments become our voices, yet it is surprising how few musicians can simply pick up their instrument and recreate the melodies and harmonies that are in their heads. Join guitarist/composer Jeff Linsky for his popular workshop on improvisation and arranging for the solo guitar. The workshop will focus on ear training and basic music theory, which will help you to identify the music and harmonies you hear and translate them to the guitar. You will also learn valuable problem solving exercises to expand your mastery of the fingerboard, opening the door to infinite creative possibilities.
